It has always been my goal to make my style unique and an expression of my own personality. I feel that I have achieved this. I normally refer to my media as water media, however, it is basically water color used in an unorthodox manner that makes it opaque.
I began experimenting with my style after I attended a seminar during which one of the speakers wrote "NEVER OVERWORK YOUR MEDIA" in large block letters on the chalk board. Immediately I asked myself, why not? In my first semi-successful attempts I noticed the work was artistically innocent and to hold onto that innocence I intentionally retain a naïve element in my work.
